šŸŽƒ Halloween Movies

Here at D-BOX we have A LOT of horror movie fans, so we’re sure some of you are big fans as well! :jack_o_lantern:

If you had to make a list of the scariest horror movies you’ve ever watched, what would be on it?

Here’s my list:

Friday the 13th! I’ve seen this movie when I was young… and I think I had nightmares for days after that…
Scream! Not THAT scary, but just enough to give you chills!
Halloween (2018), another good old classic.

Halloween Kills
The Conjuring 2(I watch this every Halloween)

While I’m not sure they would be all time scary movies I did just watch Hereditary and Malignant movies.

Both decently done and I didn’t have to ask too many times… WHY would you do that… sign that it is not too illogical… lol.

Not a fan of horror movies at my house. But I do like thrillers. Something that goes right up to the edge. The movie I always think of as ā€œon this edgeā€ is Skeleton Key. Not a horror movie, but maybe just a little as the movie wraps up.

I don’t watch many scary movies anymore but do occasionally. I am a fan of D-Box codes that add something to scenes that would otherwise have little going on. The blackout elevator scenes in the movie, Devil (2010 film), are a good example of this.

The Gremlins movies are great ā€œfamilyā€ fun scary movies

Hereditary. Menacing, chilling and super scary.

I concur! D-Box does add something to scenes that might be just a bit static without the haptics.
One scene that comes to mind is in Avengers Infinity War. Near the beginning, in Dr Strange’s place, when Tony Stark first realises that something is going on outside. You feel the subtle shaking and vibration, which sets up the sense of impending doom. The soundtrack alone doesn’t convey this as much.
